FRAME – 5 YEAR
The frame is warranted to be free from defective materials and manufacturing defects for a period five (5) years from the date of purchase under normal household use and conditions. This warranty is not valid when abuse is evident.
SPRINGS- 2 YEAR
All metal springs are warranted against spring breakage caused by metal fatigue or spring clips pulling loose from the frame for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase under normal household use and conditions.
CUSHIONS- 2 YEAR
All foam seat cushions and cushion cores are warranted against loss of resiliency for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase under normal household use. ( Please note! All cushions will soften with normal use and will conform to the shape of the user. This should be considered as normal wear, and not as loss of resiliency or a manufacture defect.)
SLEEPER MECHANISM – 2 YEAR
Sleeper mechanisms are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase under normal household use and conditions. This warranty is not valid when abuse is evident.
MATTRESS SPRINGS- 2 YEAR
Mattress springs are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years under normal use and conditions. (Please note! A mattress folded inside a mechanism may become creased at the fold lines. This is not considered a manufacture defect.)
FABRIC- 1 YEAR
Upholstery fabrics including mattress ticking are warranted to be free of defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year under normal care and use. The warranty does not cover tears, burns, stains, flattening of nap, pilling, fading, or shrinking, and is not valid when heavy soiling or abuse is evident. (Please note! Any damage or failure of the fabric resulting from chemical treatment or improper cleaning is also, specifically excluded from this warranty. )
Bauhaus Furniture Group Obligation
Bauhaus furniture group obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing, at its option, any part or parts found to be defective in material or workmanship upon examination by the manufacturer’s representative from the warranty time period specified. This warranty is limited to normal household usage, and does not apply to nay condition resulting from misuse, abuse, commercial use, or any condition, resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance, cleaning or care. Cost of packaging and shipping to and from the factory, if necessary are not covered by the warranty. Bauhaus furniture group Obligation under the warranty is specifically limited to the original purchaser.
If within the warranty period, identical materials are unavailable at the time of repair or replacement, Bauhaus furniture group reserves the right to substitute materials of equal or better quality. Replacement fabrics may vary in color from the original due to dye lot differences.
Customer sales receipt must be presented with the repair bill or claim within 60 days of the repair.

Claims must include: (1) the current name, address, and telephone number of the original purchaser (2) a written description of the complaint (3) some evidence of original ownership, such as the sales invoice or other document of purchase.
Once your claim is processed Bauhaus will contact you and depending on the nature of your claim make a determination as to your eligibility and appropriate service under this warranty. If Bauhaus determines that the product should be returned to the factory, then a return authorization will be issued to you. Items shipped prior to receiving a return authorization will not be accepted by Bauhaus. Where identical fabrics or components are not available, Bauhaus reserves the right to substitute alternatives to fulfill any warranty obligations.
Good Care Assures Long Wear
It’s important to keep your furniture looking its Bauhaus best. Good care should be a regular routine.
- Vacuum cushions once each week
- Never brush any fabric with a stiff fiber or metal brush
- Reverse, rotate and fluff seat and back cushions often to retain original softness and resiliency.
- For long life, protect your furniture from direct sunlight
Follow cleaning care instructions shown on law label under the seat cushions
- “S” – Only mild, pure, water-free dry cleaning solvents may be used.
- “WS” – Water based cleaning agents or foam. Also, water-free solvents.
- “W” – Water based cleaning agents or foam.
- “X” – Vacuum or brush only. No water or liquid cleaning agents of any kind.
